Spending a few hours with a brother-in-law whose company I always enjoy, having just received a nifty home-audio hand-me-down, I stood next to my car. It felt like everything was right in the world at that particular moment. The air was fresh and clean, the leaves were a crunchy topping for his thick, cushiony grass. Then I looked up, and couldn't decide which I liked more... the sky or the tree. So I drew my camera and collected them both.

ReplyDeleteClever title, and yes it is zinging in coulour.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful autumn picture!
ReplyDeletePretty picture. I love crunchy leaves. We had some snow too soon and it made them soggy so I didn't get a chance to crunch 'em and kick 'em around... =)
ReplyDeleteHave an enjoyable weekend!

Thanks! That means a lot coming from a genius! :)
ReplyDeleteActually, it means a lot to him anyway. By the way, we've been staying up late watching the World Series. His favorite player, Evan Longoria is playing. Timothy got a ball autographed by him this past Spring when he was on the Olympic team. He played the team in Taiwan, and we got to go see them play. So fun!
By the way, I'm loving the Skywatch Friday series. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteAnd collected them well! They interact perfectly.
ReplyDeletethe combination of trees/leaves and sky/clouds cannot be beaten. enjoy the weekend.

We are all kids at heart and to scuff through fallen leaves, is as good as jumping in puddles, when you dont have boots on.
