sing to the Lord

These beauties are right outside my church's front doors. I was there late last night, running sound for the worship team. We serve a mighty God who is worthy of praise and adoration. Running sound is a pleasure for people who are earnestly striving to give 100% and when they appreciate each others' efforts and talents. Personally, I find it is a tricky thing to be in a state of worship while paying critical attention to sound details, but there were a few times that I just had to rejoice in the Lord, regardless of where I was and what I was doing. I can't wait for Sunday, when we get to do it over again, except that I will be worshiping together with brothers and sisters.

I love signing on Sunday morning - its my favorite!

I'd love it if you could get a wide angle shot of both those trees in full bloom. They are so amazing, aren't they. And they've held up under a load of kids over the years.

Nancy these apple blossom petals covered the ground like snow. They went from raising their hands to bowing low to their faces.

I wish I had pulled that one off, Susan. I went there this weekend, and it's late for the best colors. That would have been a cool shot.

I've nicknamed those trees "The Babysitters" because they're always taking care of our kids.

Amen, Mommanator.

Shammy, you know very well how rewarding it is to be involved in your community. For all the blessing I try to pass along to others, I always receive much more.
