caught up

I hope you weren't counting on Camping's prediction of the end of the world. He gave a false prediction once before, saying that it would occur mid-September 1994. I don't understand how people can be so gullible that they followed this guy... twice!

.

Well, according to my picture here, he missed it by a day or two. Sorry Camping fans. Show's over. You have to get back to your jobs on Monday.

.

Faith is not a salad bar, where we can pick and choose according to fickle whims. Religion that we invent or create is presumptious, arrogant, and false. The holy Scriptures indicate that God treats false prophets harshly.

.

Wait... What's that in the sky? Oh nevermind. False alarm. No one knows the day or hour of Jesus' return. When he comes, it will be like a thief in the night. In other words, we can't predict it.

Somehow I seem to have missed the prediction of the end of the world.... how did I do that? If it's really going to end, I don't know if I'd want to know about it in advance or just have it come as a surprise. Perhaps the "creep up behind me and then... BOOM!" is the best way, then I wouldn't have to worry about any deadlines....

BTW, that's a hilarious picture.

This is a marvelous picture. I've been amazed at the number of people who are taking this seriously. As the Bible says, no one knows the day or hour.

The Lord is coming in hour that we think not.

God is God, and he can surely come back when we are least expecting it.

But the most likely thing that will happen for people in my life span is that they will die. In fact i have a three friends die very suddenly this past week or so.
So the main question is "Are you trusting In Jesus Christ's death for your forgiveness of your sin, and do you believe He died and was laid in a grave for 3 days, and then on Sunday He came back to life, in His same body. he overrules death itself.

Have a great Lord's Crav.

camping is a nutjob. and yes, a false prophet.

i kinda wish i still lived in town so i could have put out the clothes lke in the picture. i live too far away from the flow of traffic for that to have given anyone a giggle here at my house.

Its mans turn to reign, but we will be overturned one day, then another species will reign, when Nature changes.

Imac, thanks for leaving your comment. It doesn't match with Scripture, but I am glad that you feel comfortable enough to express your opinions.

the faith to believe in the first place… do you know where that came from?

it's a good question.

i think it is there, a gift from God, for us to pick up.
