Mrs. Craver and I are forming a new home school support group and we want to operate the program as a church ministry. We need a name for it in order to complete our church’s ministry application.

I think we could do better, so here are some names I came up with.
- Bolingbrook United Together, Triumphantly
- Best Upbringings by Righteous Parents
- Reviewing And Training
- Discipling, Renewing, Individualized Preparations
- Home Educators for Life and Liberty

Yes, the pictures are nice, but they pale in comparison to my clever wit, don'tcha think?? Momma says between me and my brother, we are 100% wit.
Most of the pictures come from flickr.com. I like to crop and tweak them with a program called Picasa.

Ours is called LEAH (Loving Education at Home)... I kinda like that for its levels of meaning. Plus, love is always a good word. :)

How long have you guys homeschooled? Just starting out or do you have a couple years under your belt?
What cirriculum are you using? (Have we talked about this one before? Or am I having deja vu?)

Hellooooo Jen! I haven't done a lot here about homeschooling yet.
1. I think we’re in our 8th year, but who counts?
2. The program we’re starting is a new homeshool support ministry that we want to provide through our church.
3. Our curriculum is quite mixed. Honestly, I don’t know all the details and how it breaks down, (my wife is master of the details) but Saxon math has been one of our favorites.
Were you homeschooled? What grades? We originally planned to send the kids out for high-school, but changed our minds. If we survive, I think it's the best thing we could have done for them.
I've had every form of schooling (private and public included). I was also homschooled and I LOVED it!
Grades: 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12.
Ohhh Saxon, my dear sweet Saxon. I also had a warm place in my heart for Abeka Science - they taught the way I thought.
And that's awesome - I'd really love to hear more about your support group through your church in greater detail...maybe when all the details are hammered out hey? :)
I don't know if they have the program in IL, but my last two years of being homeschooled, I actually went to college (technically didn't do any schooling at home - just went to college full-time). I got my Associates degree at the same time I graduated highschool. Plus, MN paid for the whole thing. I can't think of anything better than that! :)
