Sky Watch Friday!
"Motion" Pictures
Kinetic photography. It's loads of fun to experiment, not knowing exactly how motion will affect each attempt! (I shudder to think of the kind of money that was wasted back in the film era.) On this particular day, our dusk sky was cloudless. We were under a monochromatic dome... a very, very plain azure hue. I thought it was too subtle and understated for pure sky to yield an interesting photograph... so I took one picture from a moving car, and the other by twisting the camera. The first recording is a pageant of robust neon from a fast food eatery, but that's obvious, isn't it. The golden arches give it away. In the second photograph, it may look like the car was speeding, but it wasn't; trust me. I would NEVER take that kind of risk with our dinner (pizza) in the passenger seat.

Very interesting this Kinetic photography!
LOL! Your last paragraph was hilarious!!!
I'd know that eatery anywhere and in any condition! These are wonderful. Quite a nice display of the primary colors! Great experiments.
So different.. but them towers still put me off.. :o)
Not something I have tried.. but thank you
Tom
What does it say about us when we can pick out those golden arches without being told! Cool idea.
Did I hear somebody talking about pizza? Where? Where? In the front seat ... man, give me a slice :)
Great photos.
Loved the kinetic one. Such fun there.
Ah you have been playing again - 2 top shots Craver for sky watch,

Very cute post and I really didn't recognize the McDonald's sign but it made a great shot.
Thanks for visiting my blog and I'm sorry it has taken me so long to return the visit.
very intersting photos you did a great job!
Ha! Protect that pizza at all costs! Yikes mickey d's and pizza all in one post. I'm stepping away from the computer and going out for some Mexican food!!
Just great!! I love the first one. It's different and fun. But both of them are wonderful:)
Great shots, different from all the other:o)
Nice kinetic shot :)
I shudder thinking of the film era whenever I delete photos of my memory card!! LOL
Yes..please don't abuse the pizza! These are great shots...maybe I'll shall try twisting the camera sometime!
It's fun to experiment. I did it by using the contrast to end up with something very abstract once. Great job! :D Wish I coulda shared some of that pizza!
Craver Vii, my nice friend!
Beautiful shots!!
Luiz
that is a different perspective
McDonalds, I love it!! Great shots :)
Cool! ;)
The fist "M" is known world wide.....
This kinetic photography certainly gives some interesting effects. It's good to know that you didn't do anything to put your pizza at risk. One has to get one's priorities right, doesn't one?
I'm all shook up .. wait did you take that after you got a Big Shake at Mc'D's?
good shots, I had to look at the first one again after you said it was MCD"S I hadn't noticed at first! I just liked the color and movement
What fun
I LOVE that first one! I see the McD arches! LOVE it!
What a clever solution! I love these.
LOL! Differnt but why not!
You find my SWF post here
Funny!!!!
Strange and different.
The first picture got me to think about Mac Donalds :-)))
Nice weekend wishes to you from Norway.
Thanks. I enjoyed your experiments and think maybe I'll try a few of my own. ;-)
liked these. Striking first shot - will have to try that twist. Got some bizarre effects photographing a sunset on auto through screens of trees out of the car passenger window.
Interesting photos. You have peeked my interest. I just may have to experiment with this.
AWESOME shot
OK, I'm going to try this today. I had forgotten all about this technique, and believe me, I need a new way to shoot snow. I love the arches, and I'm so glad you protected that pizza (I use seatbelts!)
I'd hang that top one on my classroom wall. Do you have it in poster size?
Here via David's feature poist.
I love that first shot where you twisted the camera! How on earth did you do that? It is still so recognisable so great subject.
Some raw talent there!
Came here via David.
It looks like he made a great choice!
