Leftovers!

Today's menu: Leftovers!
Do you have photographs that for some reason didn't make it to last week's posts? Are you concerned that they will end up lost in obscurity? How about throwing them together in a collage and serving them up as leftovers?

.

The sunset for example, was too spectacular to hide away, but the lens was dirty or something, and the image won't stand alone as a "main course."

.

Just right of the sunset, we have some flowers proclaiming Spring, despite a covering of (hopefully) our last snow... March 27.

.

In other words, this is a random collage of pictures taken last week.

.

What do you think of the Leftovers idea? And has anyone else done this?

i like it! how do ya do that? i'm not very bright about these sorts of things and it takes little to dazzle me with technical skills.

just part of how i keep on tap dancing on that fine line between madness and genius ;)

thanks for your visit:)

It's similiar to Monday odd shots. Yes, I have made collages before. Sometimes I get too many pictures of one subject and I hate to just delete them.
I like your collage!! Good leftovers. lol

Dot makes great collages too.
Both of them are very beautiful.

Ah Lime, my bedazzled friend and maniacle Mensa candidate, I did not find an email address to send a response for you.

How to create a photo-collage: The photo editing program I use is Picasa2 from Google. I don't know much about other programs, but in this one, there is a collage feature that is very easy to use. I provided the link here, and you can download it for free.

Dot, I am relatively new to your blog and don't think I've seen a collage on the Monday Odd Shots yet. Originally, I wanted to call it something like "Weekend Wanderings," but waited to clear it with David McMahon (he said yes) before posting, but then "Leftovers!" came to mind, and I haven't seen anybody use that term this way yet.

Muito obrigado, Luiz, Daniel and Luiz. I appreciate the encouraging comments.

Mr. Santilli, I saw how you did yours, and I am still thinking about that Mortadela sandwich!

Hi there, this is certainly a great idea doing a collage. However, I believe we can always give some use to any of our photos.
Yours are just great. Each and sinlge one.
Yes, that Santilli got us thinking no?
Great photos, tasty fruits and at the end ... triple giant sandwich!

Great idea. Sometimes I think all my photos are leftovers, since I am not so great at taking them. However, I don't ever hesitate to post them, anyway! Are you thinking about making it a weekly link feature?

Olá Tino! You are too kind. I wanted to do this, because I do not print most of my photographs. It is too easy for these memories to be trapped on a disc or in the hard drive of a computer. Sometimes people give me helpful advice on how to improve my pictures, but that can't happen until they see them.

A weekly link, TM? I wish! Realistically, the best I expect is to use this as a recurring feature, do you really think it could catch on? I guess we will see.

I love leftovers. My wife and I have them every third or fourth night.

Those are nice photos Craver. You're next to being a genius methinks.
