tadpole

My little girl (she'll always be "my little girl") announced that she and her husband are going to upgrade Mrs Craver and me to grandparent status!!! We're so excited!

.

This week, I am going to insert a ticker in the sidebar. This will keep us up to date on the expected development of my grandbaby.

.

Someone has already given him/her the nickname "Tadpole." I'm not sure where that came from, but it sounds cute, so it stuck.

I was so excited for you guys when I found out. As you know, children as such a perfect blessing and I hear from my own parents that the role of 'grandparents' is simply cooler than sliced bread.
That is such a sweet picture of Mary too. Thank you for sharing.

We came up with the name "Tadpole" since at early development stages, babies tend to look like tadpoles. The nickname just sort of stuck. We have our first doctor's appointment this Friday! Yay!!

Oh I am SOOOOOO excited for you both!
How did they tell you?
This is wonderful news.
Is this grandchild number 1?
When will he/she arrive?
As you know, I am a new Nana, and I am of the opinion that my little 5 month old grandson is just the cutest person ever to grace the earth!!!
Before he was born he was known as either Pumpkin or Vicbert Smilne.... don't ask why.

Congrats! I have two and love them to death! BTW, What is the best part about grandkids? When the cry or act up, you can send them home. LOL just kidding. Lots of joy to look forward to.
