Sky Watch Friday!
The different types of clouds are what first caught my attention. Do you see how they smeared a big blur in the background, but the closer ones are more substantive? But looking at this photo again, I just feel so blessed to have all this open space and low structures close to home. There is a lot of sky to look at here. By contrast, when I lived in Chicago, "look at the clouds" meant "look straight up."
Speaking of clouds. This one has a concave wall. It's like a big hole in the cloud! Maybe a smaller cloud can hide inside to sneak up on his little cloud buddies...

Oh what a lot of pretty fluffy clouds! I hate to think there might be a sneaky cloud in there hiding.
I'll soon have to learn all the names of the different types of clouds... I have a grandson who will be asking me questions like that as he gets bigger.
I like to see things like this in my clouds too.
Nice photos.
Prairie skies are endless. I like the concave cloud.
I like your pictures. The top one is just like you said. I like the blurry in the background and the defined ones in front. And looking at clouds all the way to the horizon instead of just "up" is wonderful.
Great clouds.
My brother and his wife have a day care and call the "toy story clouds".
Nice "Sky Watch" today.

Yes, there's something to be said for flat terrain. ;-)
That first picture is wonderful!
that is a lot of sky for sure. i have to look up too but not because of skyscrapers. it's all about the trees here ;)
Gorgeous, fluffy white clouds!! Great shots!!
Craver: Nice captures but I don't know if your cloud theory hold any water, WAIT, clouds do hold water.
Perfect Skywatch!
Wonderfully captured! Good work!
Cheers, Klaus
These are my favorite kind of skies and the green of the field just contrasts to make them beautiful!!
Yep, in Virginia it was either straight up or through a whole in the trees.I love my little acres with sky all around.
That last image with the 'hiding place' is pretty cool. Maybe your angel was hiding in there watching out for you. :)
Cottonwool clouds I refer to them as.
Something really light and aory about them. Lovely.
Beautiful fluffy clouds

Its so amazing what you see, just look up and every time its different.
Great shots Craver my friend.
Wide open skies and then a hollow cloud? Great selection of contrasts.
Little cloud buddies? Couldn't have put it better myself mon ami. Great SWF!

Makes me think of a book my daughter has called It looked like spilt milk
I like the concave cloud best because it is a bit different.
