Black squirrels are simply a different coloured version of the regular grey squirrel, we have lots of them in my back yard.

what a lovely series of shots. very serene. black squirrels are rare around here too. we are overrun with the grey ones.

An all black squirrel? Never heard of such a thing. Yeah I learned something today.
It greatly resembles a black skunk......not that I know of a thing like that. Just saying that is what it reminded me of.

A while back I posted about a girl I met in the park that had a pet skunk on a leash. Never heard of that before either.
