life goes on

These newborn hamsters are just hours old. Happy birthday, little ones!

Teensy for sure, Lime. We're careful not to handle them though, because we want to give them the best chances for survival.

Thanks Mommanator. The pace of daily life is still critical, but some of the pressures are more tolerable.

Oh Dot! These will become some of the cutest, most cuddly animals ever to grace God's green earth. Now, if we could only figure out how to buy one that ISN'T pregnant... This is the second time that's happened in the Craver household.

Yes of course NaNcY. The word for the day is indeed: rejoice. But for some of us, that's the word of the day EVERY day, isn't it? I have special reason for rejoicing that I'll post next.

My son counted four, Shammy. I don't know how close he got that he could see all of them or how sure he is of his count, but as for me, I am content to wait until their momma is ready to make introductions. Then we will know for sure.
