petered pumpkin

Sorry to have ducked out without an explanation. I appreciate the comments and emails expressing concern.

.

Something (a series of events, really) left me feeling squashed, overwhelmed, like the life was sucked out of me. Hmmm... kinda-sorta like that pathetic little pumpkin in the lobby of this internet café.

.

I felt it necessary to back off, unplug for a while, so that I can focus more clearly and be sure to respond well. If you heard "the sound of ultimate sufferring" in the previous post, it was due in part to my decision to take a hiatus from the blogosphere, but there are some face-to-face things that need to be prioritized and sorted out. I hope to be back soon. How about you? Have you "been there?" I expect we all have, at one time or another. Please pray for me. Thanks.

Craver

Hope all is well with you and that God meets you in your need.

Perhaps this quote from a wise blogger might be helpful in your challenging time -

"..the most impressive thing about darkness is still... the light"

Grace to you

Hey Craver!

Stopped by after reading your post on Ted's Community of Jesus. I look forward to seeing and hearing more of you.

Whatever's going on: I'm praying.

Craver,
Certainly. I'm always wondering about what I'm doing, or not doing. Deb helps keep me in check, I'm sure. And I'm often on the brink of at least letting up on blogging.

Will be praying.

Craver,
Sorry to hear about your rough time. I can understand the need to back off and take care of the real life at times. Hope this finds you well. Prays from me. Looking forward to seeing you back...meaning God and you have handled whatever it is you are going through

Honestly, I feel like that at some point every single day. Too many things, too few hours. Hope you figure it out to have some sanity in your life!

My favorite scripture is "be still and know that he is God!" So be still and we will be here when you return!
