bright and crisp

Oh man, it's so nice to be lazy and get up from the night's slumber whenever I feel like it! This turned out to be a FIVE-day weekend for me!!! I'll be driving a lot on Monday, but that's okay. I don't know yet what kind of weather I'll be driving in, but it has been brisk and sunny so far.

.

We visited a few friends, and did some very needed work around the house. The raccoons, birds and squirrels will have to find another way now, to get inside my garage. Wild animals are only cute to me when they're outside. Once they're inside, the warm, fuzzy feelings disappear. (Honestly, I get to wishing I had something other than a camera to shoot them with.)

.

Okay kids... I'm off to do a little more around the house, and maybe some shopping.

Thats the problem with loooong weekend, we get lazy or overwork, one or the other. :)

Isn't it lovely to have a loooong weekend? Of course, now I'm retired, I don't have to worry about long weekends, every weekend is a long weekend, but I do miss the anticipation of having some free days to do whatever I want instead of sticking to a routine.
Hope your weekend was happy and you had a yummy Thanksgiving dinner with your family around you.

Whether overdone or underdone Joan, it's nice to have them once in a while. I ache all over, and my eyes are tired, but I'll do it again when I get the chance.

Shammy, we were invited to a Thanksgiving dinner with another family. It was SOOOOOO good!!!

Truth be told nAncY, if I encounter a raccoon in an enclosed area, I probably will not try to save the memory with a nice macro. If that were the case I might be posting something to the effect of, "This was the nasty beast just before it bit me and tried to gouge my eyes out. Rabies shots are no fun..." No Ma'am; I intend to play it safe.

Yes sir Mr. Imac; you've got that right. She's worth every drop of sweat and every penny I put into those projects.

"Business" Mommanator? It was all good. Hey, I heard you sold your house... congratulations!

Aww, but critters are so cute!! Well I've never had them coming into my home/garage to cause havoc, so I suppose that can't be pleasant :P

Lovely picture :)
