kwazy wabbit

Is it even possible to talk about a rabbit without doing an Elmer Fudd impersonation?

.

I wish I could offer this particular rabbit a carrot for letting me get so close, and maneuver around so the sun was at just the right spot, but it scampered away just as soon as I said thank you.

.

Yes, I do talk to animals. I'm not saying they comprehend or speak back, but I still tell them things as if they were capable of understanding.

I'd have thanked that wabbit too. Nice of it to let you get this great capture.

The morning sun had a warm, amber hue, didn't it Mr. Dave.?

Well, yes Imac. Except for this one parrot. He talked too much.

Just ask Alice what the doormouse said.

Do you know what I like about this particular shot Gaelyn? The side profile and strong light source makes for a lot of bits and bytes of memory. Most pictures are in the neighborhood of one megabyte. This file has so much detail it's three times bigger.

Craver: So you have a little of Dr. Doolittle in ya. I love the new Elmer Fudd commercial where he can't say the R's.

That is a nice closeup! I always talk to the animals I come across. Doesn't everyone?! :-)

Wabbits are weally cool animals.

I toake shots of bunnies in my yard. I have this one rabbit that must have 7 or 8 ticks on his ears. Man, was that gross.

Doctor Doolittle was so cool. I'm guessing that you're part Aquaman, eh Fishing Guy?

Thanks Happyone. I feel a little less crazy now. You know, I don't mind speaking to them whether I am alone or with other people, but if I start alone, and some walks up on me while I'm talking to a critter, it's embarrasing.

So Sandman, would you say that your rabbit was "ticked?" Hahahahahahaa...

What a cute little wabbit and I like Elmer Fudd too. :)

A kindred spirit, I talk to animals all the time :) You've got a cute photo of this bunny and that lighting is just lovely. Thanks for stopping by. Also for letting me know about the shopping malls. I never would have known that.

I think most of us of a certain age go into automatic Elmer Fudd mode when talking of rabbits. Since this bunny cooperated so nicely it's obvious he isn't a "wascally wabbit"!

You are just NOW beginning to wonder, Joan? Oh my! I must hide it very well. ;-) As for you, all manner of geniuses have been thought of as weird, but they were simply ahead of their day.

Yes, but I'll bet they don't run away when YOU talk to them, Denise. I imagine your speech is easy on the ears.

I passed the mall information along just in case any photographer decides to get bold and test mall security. It would be embarrassing to chaperone my daughter and her friends, and then suddenly be escorted off the premises, or have the local police take me away.

Our public library has DVD's of Warner Brothers cartoons, George. I like them better than most of the cartoons I see today (except Veggietales) so our kids have been shown the stuff I grew up on, including Elmer, Daffy, Sylvester, Foghorn, and of course Bugs. (We are a little more sensitive about Porky Pig because my wife stutters.)

Well, I talk to animals too. I think they understand more than most people think Just because they cannot talk doesn't mean they cannot hear and understand. :)

Hey, why isn't your bunny all peeling paint like mine. :)
You got the real thing - nice catch!

"doesn't mean they cannot hear and understand." EG

I don't think animals can understand, can they?

I mean when you say to a dog, "Come here boy, sit", is he understanding, and thinking to himself, "Alright, I will come and sit, because I like you, and I know I'm going to get a treat."

Animals understanding, is simply reactionary, I would think.

I know others who belive animals are just like humans, but can't tell us, because they have mouths that can't express.

I believe God made man in His image, and all other animals are in a different category.

Hope that makes sense.

Have a great 4th everyone!
