another painting

I do not have a lot of my old art stuff around still, but I thought it would be fun to bring another painting to you today. You might know (from the previous post), that I used to paint murals. Today's picture was not a mural, but there is another connection. Here, water flows out of an outdoor spigot. As water makes contact with the brick wall, it comes alive and creates its own mural of a simple landscape, including a drinking fountain.

.

A funny thing about my old paintings, is that I used to give them titles, and even though I was not a follower of Christ at the time, I had a tendency to use biblical names. For example, this was was called "Living Water," another one was called "Genesis," etc.

I did not know you were a painter. Wow beautiful! And the previous one is nice too!

I like this painting as well. The concept is very clever. Thanks for sharing your works with us.

me thinks you should find an empty wall in the house and paint a mural.thats only if your wife would let you!

Thanks Chris. That's an encouraging note. I look at the paintings now, and think of what I wish I could change.

George, there was one or two more, that I wanted to show, but I can't remember what I did with them.

Thank you Fishing Guy.

Methinks I would rather keep my wife happy Mr. Dave. Truth be told, I don't enjoy painting as much as I used to, so it would be a major chore to try to pull something like that off.

It fun to look at your old art work. I would dig some out if it wasn't in Yarnell instead of here. Nice painting and good name.

You are a multi-talented guy!

That is very kind of you, Mommanator.

When you get back to Yarnell Gaelyn, please get a few snapshots of some of your art. I'd love to see it.

I wish I had put more thought into other pieces that I did Imac. Looking back, I see that they were very crude and simplistic.

(lol) EG, I'm more of a dabbler, really.

Another side of our dear friend!
I like them both but I'm really impressed with the concept of the last one.
You may not have been a follower of Christ at the time but he was there with you. :)
