timetable

timetable

May 1, 2013

This week's Headbanger's theme is "timetable."  Check out my  pals for their interpretations on this theme: Fishing  Guy, Katney, Imac and Lew.

I could have (and should have) put more time and creativity into this week's post.  I have ideas that never saw fruition.  But such is our struggle, pitting each week's objectives against the constraints of time.  This header shows children displaying their projects at the History Fair.  They were excited to show people the elements of construction in making a Roman road. We were excited about that too, but it didn't hurt anything that they offered treats.

Great idea my friend, love the picky of passing time at the stall with its Ghost like figures, was that done with a long exposure?

Yep. Long exposure, low ISO, tiny aperture, plus neutral density filter. I had hoped that they would move a little more, but people go slow when they're trying to pick appetizers and desserts.

Craver: What a neat take on the theme. Everyone went a different direction.

Love the treatment of the treats.

Craver, I love the look on the face of the little girl on your header; great capture there. That is only one of the things that I like about your photography: you capture the emotions as well as beauty.
I remember history fairs with mixed feelings, so to see the joy on her face put joy in my heart.
Always love being here, my friend...
Hugs,
J.

And Rome wasn't built in a day - so they needed a timetable (maybe Congress could use one also). Love the flow of time in your first pic! We were in similar lines Saturday at a niece's wedding.

You got some great ideas for this week's theme. The girl at the Roman table certainly looks enthusiastic about her project (or treat). I like your photo of the action at the desert table.
