It's somewhat amusing when one has to chisel hard at his car to even get inside. I'm wearing away the serrated side of the ice scraper! Ooooo-eeeee! Don't drive in this stuff if you don't have to!

Pronounced 'CRAVER SEVEN.' An anagram generator first gave me “Rev Vicar I.” Whoa, that comes across kind of pompous, doesn’t it? But I am glad to confess certain “cravings.” Here are seven of them: God, His Word, prayer, the lost, the redeemed, Christian service, and my bride.

about the comment poem...
i'm gonna keep trying.
keep lettin you know...
i will tell you when the next one is as well.
you never know when words will come.
sometimes the words may be short and funny
sometimes they may be all weird and strange.
i know you can do this.
you are very creative in many ways.
it will just take the right poem at the right time.
oh...and watch out for your neighbors mail box while driving in that ice.
hehehe
I can just see you with a hammer and chisel trying to get in Craver. :) I dont know how the cars can work in those freezing temeratures, I know I wouldn't!!
Craver: The ice makes for great photos but the results can be bad. My wife fell on black ice in the driveway last month and hurt herself badly.
nAncY, a comment poem sounds like a pretty cool idea. I have done a similar idea with telling stories. What a blast!
Oh, you remember the story about the mailbox, eh?
No hammers Joan, but it IS rather comical to get out of work at five, and see a bunch of people in the parking lot scraping away at their cars, all at the same time. Sometimes, I turn the car on, and let it warm up for a while so I can melt the ice off the windshield, but sometimes I can't wait.
Fishing Guy, that's terrible! I'll keep her in prayer. In the meantime, here's my prescription: Cover her with compassion, and soak her in tender lovingkindness. I hope that helps.
Although the ice is pretty to look at it sure is hazardous for driving. I remember those days of chipping my way into my car. Don't miss it a bit. But then, we have snow here too. Be safe Craver.
We had a black ice day 2 weeks ago, s-l-o-w was the order for the drive to work.
At work (hospital) there were too many folk coming in A/E, with their falls, smashes ect - standing room only.
This kind of ice may be beautiful but it scares the dickens out of me! Treacherous!
Did I tell ya I'm back in Fla!? well it was 78 today. no ice for miles here
okay...this time it is haiku.
short and sweet in the comment section.

I made it through the weekend just fine, Gaelyn. It warmed up a lot, and I did not fall at all, but came close once or twice on Saturday.
Imac, it saddens me to know of so many injuries. I wish we could absorb the falls better, you know?
You're right EG. It was pretty in the trees, but I definitely stayed indoors as much as possible that day.
78?!! Mommanator, I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I was in such a warm climate today! I'm glad for you though. As I recall, the cold weather was not good for you. Stay warm, Friend.
I'll give it a go, nAncY. Thanks for the invite.
i do love to see the ice encased trees after a storm especially if the sun shines in a blue sky afterward but yes, be careful driving.
