The new one was taken this week..
And now, back to our program... Here, we have a macro of a spring beauty. They sprinkle their yard with an "intense blue." I like their symmetry and the powdery anthers on each stamen..
Pronounced 'CRAVER SEVEN.' An anagram generator first gave me “Rev Vicar I.” Whoa, that comes across kind of pompous, doesn’t it? But I am glad to confess certain “cravings.” Here are seven of them: God, His Word, prayer, the lost, the redeemed, Christian service, and my bride.

Nice updated profile pic Craver. Don't see too much change.
Love the Spring Beauty. Wonder if blue pollen could be gathered from these.
I like you new pic too Craver. Glad to see the whole photo with the boa constrictor? You were brave! Pretty blue flower!
Oh so THAT is what you look like Craver? LOL!! Just teasing as usual. :)
What a beautiful python. Did you take it home with you? I would have. :)
A stunning shot of that beautiful flower!!
You look different in every one of your photos. I just noticed you were holding a snake. Eeeeeeeeeeekkkkkk! See Dot run.
nice new pic :) and the flower is gorgeous!
I had a pic taken holding a huge snake when I was in Australia.
I held the snake just long enough for the photo to be taken, and then I could feel the panic rising.... eeek! Get. This. Snake. Off. Me. NOW!
Nice pic Craver, you are fabulously handsome and virile! What a man!
Very nicely done, Craver - I'm talking about the blossom.
But the updated photo is great too.
I recently updated mine also. I used to look like an orange cat, but I now look like a camera with the letters EG on it. I think I spend so much time with my camera that I'm beginning to look a lot like it. :)
Ahhh, there's mr. handsome!
"Hi honey!"
Craver: You sly old dog, we didn't even know you were such a hansom fellow. Great flower for Springtime.
Nice update of your profile ;-) and nice picture of the flower... How do you like your camera ;-)
Blue pollen? Gaelyn, is that used as a pigment?
Oh, I wasn't really being brave, Denise. There were enough of us around, that if the snake tried to put the squeeze on me, my friends could rescue me.
That's really me, Joan. I like snakes. That pretty thing was called "Sarah." Plus, if I remember correctly, you are right on with the I.D. I think the restaurant told us we were holding a python and eating an anaconda or vice-versa.
If you think THIS looks different Dot, you should see some of the transformations I have gone through on Facebook. Cartoons, pirates, movie stars...
Thanks Lime. I'll bet people pass by those every day without noticing them, because they're small and back from the sidewalk. I sure am glad I got up close for a different perspective.
Shammy, I am sure that was the first time anyone ever called me virile. What a nice compliment!
EG, we may not know your face in this blogosphere, but I'd be willing to be that if there were a live event, where we were showing our photos, that I'd be able to pick you out. There is a certain quality to your pics that is unique, and I cannot duplicate it, but I like it very much.
Hello My Love! I know blogging is not your thing, but I get such a kick out of seeing your visits here. :-)
Hahahahaha! I'm not, really. Let me put it this way Fishing Guy: it took me five years to find a suitable photo to replace the last one.
Oh man! Chris, this new camera is so fast! The last one was great, but I missed a lot of shots while waiting for it to write on the mini disc. Now, I am clicking away like a madman, and I purchased a used (manual) 300 mm lens. Look out world!
Spring beauty is right, what a beautiful photo of this flower! The colour is so intense.
PS. I love that snake!
