Lots of rain overnight. The sun eventually broke through, but between the extremes, I found an unhappy arachnid surveying the damage to its house..

It was a little uncomfortable Imac, because I had to lean into a wet bush to be close enough for the shot. What's worse, is that I had to hold still while mosquitoes hovered around there.

I wonder what spiders do when the web gets completely saturated like that. Do they clean it up and repair the broken strands, or just put it down to experience and go off to another location and build a new web? Is your spider still there?
