toe cam

New image from the toe cam. (No, there isn't really any such thing.) This was just my regular o'l Pentax. It's a gorgeous day out there, today. If I had a camera in my shoe, this is what it would look like, here.

.

That reminds me. Some folks were talking about what to wear at church, and we had different perspectives on whether it is okay to wear flip-flops or sandals. What do you think? Does it bother you when people wear sandals or flip-flops to church?

beautiful shot... Concerning your last question, does it matter really what we wear? Is it not the heart and soul that matter? ;-)

Hi Craver, it's been a while and I'm glad I popped in to catch up on your posts. Beautiful 'toe' photo! I don't think God would mind what kind of footwear we wear in church. Jesus wore sandals didn't he?

I don't think God cares what we wear on our feet and as long our feet take us to church.
Denise is right - God wore sandals.

I don't have a problem with sandals in church, either. I was surprised to hear a friend's strong reaction to the idea.

I would not be as tolerant for something that is immodest or blatantly disrespectful, like this stupid thing some kids are doing with their pants hanging down, so that their shorts are in everybody's face.

But sandals? I don't see how that is disrespectful. Neither do I see that as immodest, unless it were common or normal for people to have a foot fetish.

Sandals are fine with me. Flipflops, too...I guess. :)) Going to church is the BIG thing and what church-goers wear is kinda secondary or tertiary or....

Not duodenary? (12th order)

Another thing about church that's big for me, is to have my family sitting together. Well, it used to be anyway. Now, since I run sound, and my wife leads the singing, and two of the three kids at home help with tech support...

But when we're not assisting in some way, I like to have us sit together.

love the colors and the perspectives in this shot. stunning.

as for footwear i have no issue there. mini skirts or low cut tops yes but not flip-flops and sandals.
