Header Challenge:welcome home
September 18, 2013
This week's challenge is
welcome home, selected by Christine. Check out my pals for their interpretations on this theme:
Fishing Guy,
Katney,
Imac,
Lew, and our newest headbanger,
Christine Anne!

My grandson plays outside a toy house in our backyard, but he's not interested to go inside. |

Grandson #1 hanging out with "Poppa." |

When the spider says, "I'd like to have you for dinner," she means it literally. |

A less-than-inviting home for those of us who are not family. |
The header I selected was taken from a yard near my job. When I saw this wide structure with such an amusing collection of brightly decorated bird houses, I rang the person's doorbell and asked permission to walk into their yard and take photos. They graciously obliged. They certainly put forth a good effort to make local birds feel welcome in those homes!

Very interesting take on the theme Craver. That was a colorful line-up.
Nice welcomes to most, but I do not welcome the little stingers into our home!
Love the bird homes. I think I remember when you first took this. Still love all the colors!
I want those birdhouses!
LOVE!
I can't wait to show this photo to my Daddy. Perhaps he will build them.
Wonderful posts, today, Craver.
Hugs,
Jackie
Wonderful collection of birdhouses. I wonder how many get occupied. Some birds like some distance. When we were working on the bluebird trail years ago, we had to space the houses at least 200 feet apart.(I think that was it, it might have been 400.)
LOVE all the colorful birdhouses in your header!!!
wow, i really love your header!
great image!
wising you a wonderful weekend~
Checking on you to see if you are doing well. Just checking, my friend....

I'm hanging in there, Jackie. As if regular life wasn't busy enough, I took on new duties at work. I won't see a raise until my next review, when I hope to prove that I'm worth the risk, but I have accepted a promotion. That means hard work, and the need to make sure I exercise regularly and get plenty of rest. If I don't do that, I'll be brain-dead at work, and that just won't do. This curbs my online availability and recreational photography. I hope that it's not too demanding. Prayers would be appreciated.
