group portrait

group portrait

May 28, 2014

This week's challenge is group portait  It was my choice.  Check out my pals for their interpretations on this theme: Womtig, Fishing Guy, Katney, Imac, Lew, and Christine Anne.

Saturday was a beautiful, warm sunny day.  One generous soul announced that he hailed the ice cream truck, and everyone at the backyard wedding reception was welcome to enjoy some ice cream... his treat!  Young and old alike were welcome to it.  Free ice cream...  aah, what a glorious moment in time!

My beloved posing with the members of Selah.

This was after the Selah concert from a Downtown Chicago parking garage.

Friends forever.

Sisters.  What is the minimum for a group portrait?  Does two qualify?

John Michael Talbot (bearded) with his publishers.

What grand groups Craver, nicely captured.

I did some with two. And I think that I said this before but John Michale Talbot's beard has surely grown and gotten much more gray since I saw him a few years ago.

No better portrait than kids with ice cream!

Those are all great, but I really like your header shot. It's so hard to get groups of children, but I love the whimsical nature of the image you caught, with the one little one not looking at the camera but doing her own thing. Sweet!

How many comprise a group?
Great question. Let's throw it out to the world and see what answers we get.
Or not.

Hi, my friend. I have missed your photos... and am happy to be here to see your take on the latest theme.
Love the photo of your beloved and Selah. Tell your beloved hello for me and that I am keeping on keeping on...and my weight continues to diminish. A good thing for me.
Sending you hugs,
J.
