Christmas angels

I’ll be giving a talk next week where I try to get the audience to speculate how angels might describe the meaning of Christmas. Can you imagine it?

Angel 1: Where’s Jesus going?

Angel 2: Oh, He’s going to be born as a human.

Angel 1: He’s God, eternally existent… why would He want to be born??

Angel 2: So He could die…

Aah, see how the shadow of the cross overlaps the manger scene.

I love that sculpture.

It would be interesting to know exactly how much the angels knew about Jesus' destiny at His birth.

"It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but you, in the things that have now been announced to you through those who preached the good news to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, things into which angels long to look" (1 Peter 1:12).

I've never seen him so little.

She's so blessed!

Glory, glory, glory.

"What must it be like in heaven this time of year..."

Hey y'all, it was a spark from Stacey's blog that got me on this track. I sure am getting a lot of mileage from it.

Stacey is a new blogger. Go tell her what a snake I am for making fame and fortune off of her uncopyrighted idea. She'd love your company.

Thanks Craver for the props (and after all my whining - what a guy).
