milton burl

It's been overcast and cooler than usual with a constant drizzle. The summer seems to have ended so abruptly. I carry my camera everywhere I go, but can't seem to get the right light for anything. This duck doesn't seem to mind it at all, though.

.

They say we'll have more normal (warmer) temps next week, and some sun... we'll see.

.

By popular demand (2 people--I'm easy) here is the picture of my closely cropped scalping.

But if three or four cross your path Mr. Dave... waddle you have then?

That's what they're forecasting, Leeloo's Mum. I hope they're right.

Much too busy to be down, Mommantor. And definitely not downe. (I looked it up.)

Weatherman says it'll clear up tomorrow, Imac. I hope to trim the hedges this weekend.

Charming ducks! Honestly, I could sit and watch such as these... floating across peaceful water... for a long, long time.

Sounds like the perfect weather for ducks. They are not complaining are they? :)

The lighting has been terrible here too. When the sun comes out I have to drop everything and grab my camera!

When I worked out in the street with a utility crew, we could always tell where the underground DUCKs were by the QUACKS in the road.... groan!

LL, I get the impression that you are more than an observer of peace, but that you are genuinely a peace-maker. Thanks for visiting.

All I know nAncY, is that If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, looks like a duck, it must be a duck.

These ducks had nothing to complain about, Joan. I saw a few people hand-feeding them. I didn't feed them a thing, but sat close, in the wet grass, trying to snap a good picture.

I just came back from visiting your blog, EG. I see that you were able to go out after all and catch some nice pics of that autumn creek and blue heron.

Shammy... :-O
