I did not want a dog, but my wife and kids did. So far, we're getting along great. But how can a person not like a puppy, right? Besides, this one has a gentle, mild and quiet way about him. Quiet is good; it is very good. He likes to be held a lot. I suppose that is a good thing, too. Soon, we will begin his training. Before he is done, I expect him to assist me with my picture-taking. He will need to fetch specific items from my camera bag, set up the tripod, and hold the reflector for me.

How cute.
He's adorable. Mike keeps talking pet and I say NO. Someday. Good luck with the photo assistant training. Look forward to seeing this little guy grow up.
How cute... I think you need him to train a lot if you want him to hold reflector, fetch the flash from your bag, bring you another battery when yours is finished... Better to teach him how to find birds for you ;-)
So cute! I am getting a puppy soon. Puppies breath new life into a home - and new destruction. They sure do know how to chew!
dogs are good for using the remote, too!
A photo trained dog! That should be a real asset for a photographer - countless opportunities :-)
Thank you for the nice comment and compliment :-) Imac's Phun Project has been really fun and has kept us on our toes - between the laughs.
And buy you umpteen new pairs of slippers.
But he is soooo cute.
Oh little Beau is so cute!!!
He sure is, Flutietootie.
I hear he won't grow much bigger, Gaelyn. So I'm thinking this will be easy on the wallet.
Are you kidding, Chris? I still need someone to teach ME! :-)
Oh, the destruction! Charity, I discovered one gnawed cable already. We give him attention; we give him chew toys; we give him Gameboy power adapter cables...
He better not touch the remote, Mr. Dave. I waved the poppy seed buns at him, but I don't think this hot dog made the connection.
Yes Sir, RuneE; the Phun project was a stitch for sure!
If that's the case Imac, then my kids better save up their pennies to buy replacements.
I love to see that wagging tail, Happyone. My last dog did not have a tail. (That's how she already was when we got her.)
Beau is cute, but I somehow have a feeling that he may be the one doing the training!
How cute! Awwww!:) I hope you will grow to love Beau even more than you do now!
Always nice to have a new baby in the family, furry or otherwise. He's very handsome. I shall expect to see lots more portraits of Beau in future posts.
As for training him to help with the photography, don't hold your breath. And hide your best slippers.
I hear you, George. But I hope we can be good and consistent.
I don't know, Rachel Grace. We love that puppy a whole lot. I wish people loved each other as much as they do puppies, how's that?
Shammy, Beau bites at my beard. The weird little mutt! He goes crazy, licking the face, but then bites and tugs at the beard. Ouch.
We need to change his name, though. I don't like that his name rhymes with "no." Sasquatch is my first choice. I like Romper, too. The family will decide this, and not just me.
quiet is very good. lemme know how the photog assistant training goes ;)
