socialization

On two separate gatherings this weekend, I was told how grown men and women appreciate that this boy can look a man eye-to-eye and carry a mature conversation. He's a normal boy for his age (pizza, video games, etc.), but he can talk with peers or grown ups equally. I'm proud of him!

Mr. Dave, my wife and I both try to influence him this way, but we have to give the lad credit for application. More than that, thanks to the Lord for a moldable heart.

Oh, you know it, Lime! That's the best kind of compliment.

Good looking boy. Nice testimony of his parents, and our Lord's grace.
God bless and keep your boy Craver. Amen.

How could you tell under all all that hair? ;-)
How sweet of you Shammy. Thanks.

Thanks Sandman. May the Lord raise him up to be a faithful disciple.

Thank you Chris. I felt that the contrast was a bit strong, and I could have used something as a reflector. I'll have to remember that spot for the future.

You should be proud of him. But I'm also sure he has a wonderful example in his mother and father.

He's a handsome lad!
And, he posed so Dad could take his picture. :)

My own son worked at McDonald's during high school. One day while working the drive-thur a customer thanked him for talking clearly so they could understand. :)

Someone must have been an outstanding parent. :))

We certainly do try to set an example, George. Thanks for the compliment.

Carletta, I am one who appreciates enunciation as well. Good for him! :-)

I try to pass along all the good things that I received from my own parents CameraGirl, but I think it is this young man who is outstanding. He makes it easy to be his dad. I like that.

A highly desireable trait in a young man. Apparently you're doing a good job of raising him!

He brings a lot of joy into our home, Pearl.

Betty, there are four children in my family, this being the youngest of them. It's neat how they all have such different personalities.

Please know that you can always count on me to pray for you, Betty. I take that privilege very seriously. :-)
