I had hoped to post something about a cow today. These are not cows, and I'll bet you figured that out already, because you are oh-so-clever. Well, they are not cows, but they are chocolate and vanilla... just like the calves that Leeloo showed on her project 365. And calves, of course are... baby cows. Lime's word verification was "sitsmoo." The prefix "sits" is what you do on top of this chocolate and vanilla pair, after they're trained and saddled.

So there we go! I've covered sits and moo with a recent pic. This one was from that day a few weeks ago when I took my son up to Wisconsin for a photo safari of sorts. I've been wanting to show you, but I got carried away with my eagerness with birds. Please be patient; I'll have more bird pics soon enough.

Are you SURE they are not cows? LOL!! I am a city girl you know so how can I tell the difference? :)

The nice thing about horses Bird Girl, is that they don't fly away when you try to get in range for a clearer photo. That was refreshing.

Now that I look at it Joan, I think you are right. They ARE cows. It is the angle of the picture and glare from the sun that makes them look like horses. I was udderly mistaken.
Thanks Mommanator. This one in the foreground looked especially pretty to me. I especially liked the way the wind swept the mane back for the photo.

That reminds me Imac, there's a game we play on road trips. When we see cows, we act like sheltered city folk and call them horses, and when we see horses vice versa.
Hey Lime, the hamster wheel may be squeaky, but it's still turning! I have never actually seen a "convoluted" hamster wheel, mind you. They are generally roundish. But if there was an intricate, twisty, overlapping one that squeaked, that would be me.
What?! Dot, you are the only person I have ever heard to say they do not want to ride a horse. It is an amazing thing to get a sense of the power of that animal, and when I sit up there, I may as well be sitting on a throne.
