To write the love of God above Would drain the ocean dry Nor could the scroll contain the whole Though stretched from sky to sky

If you've never heard the song, here is a link to a YouTube video. It is a three minutes and thirty-three seconds well spent.

aw man...were we that close?
we could have visited!

Hi Craver,
So how are you feeling - really good I hope.
I loved the YouTube video - the images fit the words beautifully.
I had to scroll back a couple and see that it was fishing you did on your camping trip. What a great picture you had there too.
Take Care.
Craver: That is a beautiful song of His love.
I thought you'd like it nAncY, since it coincides with the central theme of your own blog.
I wish the area around Midway Airport was more like Bolingbrook, but it's very congested, all concrete & asphalt, plus it's hard to find free parking. Once you get to Bolingbrook though, cast a fishing line in one of our pretty little lakes and sample a local eatery... that'll fix whatever ails a person!
I'm feeling better every day, Carletta. I'm glad you liked the song. We sang it at church on Sunday, so the tune was fresh in my mind.
So true, Fishing guy! (I wonder if the redeemed will sing new songs only, or if heaven will include some that we learned in this life.)
Man, that is a green picture. Everything is today seems to be green. Green is in. Actually green is my favorite color, but I'm not one of the Green people.
That's a wonderful hymn. we sing that at our church every now and then.
Bottom line for us is the love of God. We need to hear He loves us, and build ourselves up in His love, or we will become discouraged and feel condemned and guilty, because our sin will never cease this side of glory. But God is greater than our heart.
Sandman, that morning we went fishing at 6 AM. A few casts before taking that picture, the air was filled with mist. I think it is the low slung sun that makes it so green.
As for me, whenever I cannot go with purple, I'll choose green.
Oh, plus I used a polarizing filter and a UV filter for the shot.
Beautiful words, Carver!
That is a beautiful picture. I like how you did that. And Mercy Me I think is one of the best music groups ever. I love how they put to words and song the beauty of God's relationship.
thank you
